Multi-trait multi-environment models for selecting high-performance and stable eucalyptus clones

چکیده
Multi-trait multi-environment (MTME) models were fitted to eucalyptus breeding trials data assess residual variance structure, genetic stability and adaptability. To do so, 215 clones evaluated in a randomized complete block design with 30 replicates one plant per plot four environments. At 36 months of age, tree diameter at breast height (DBH) pilodyn penetration (PP) measured. Two MTME fitted, for which residuals considered homoscedastic heteroscedastic, the best model selected using Bayesian information criterion. The harmonic mean relative performance genotypic values (HMRPGV) was used determine Of two models, heteroscedastic had better fit provided greater accuracy. In addition, genotype-by-environment interaction complex, there low correlation between DBH PP. Rank by high but HMRPGV facilitated clone selection through simultaneous evaluation stability, adaptability, productivity. Thus, our results suggest that / can be efficiently applied clones.

15 صفحه اولA Genomic Bayesian Multi-trait and Multi-environment Model
When information on multiple genotypes evaluated in multiple environments is recorded, a multi-environment single trait model for assessing genotype × environment interaction (G × E) is usually employed. Comprehensive models that simultaneously take into account the correlated traits and trait × genotype × environment interaction (T × G × E) are lacking. In this research, we propose a Bayesian ...
متن کاملHeritabilities and Genetic Correlations for Egg Weight Traits in Iranian Fowl by Multi Trait and Random Regression Models
Objective: The main objective of this research was estimation of genetic parameters for five consecutive measurements of egg weights in Isfahan fowl using multi trait model and random regression models. Methods: The statistical models included generation-hatch as a fixed effect, weeks of age as a covariate and additive genetic and individual permanent environmental effects as random effects. Th...

متن کاملMulti-Trait and Multi-Environment QTL Analyses for Resistance to Wheat Diseases
BACKGROUND Stripe rust, leaf rust, tan spot, and Karnal bunt are economically significant diseases impacting wheat production. The objectives of this study were to identify quantitative trait loci for resistance to these diseases in a recombinant inbred line (RIL) from a cross HD29/WH542, and to evaluate the evidence for the presence loci on chromosome region conferring multiple disease resista...
